Our STEM teachers are committed to providing our kids students centered and authentic lessons every day through hands-on learning opportunities which includes design based software on a consistent basis. All STEM teachers implement at least two cross curricular projects every semester . Below are examples of those projects:
Students created learning tools based on prior knowledge. In this cross-curricular lesson, students in STEM Design class used information being taught in the STEM English classroom to create informational posters for future English 1 classrooms. These images will be used by teachers and students to introduce new curriculum concerning the use of rhetorical strategies in writing and advertising.
