All CCHS STEM students participate in a one on one session with our counselors during our annual Senior Meetings. Our STEM counselors email STEM students on a weekly basis to keep them up to date on the most available STEM opportunities such as college visits, career cafes for students to learn more about job and college readiness, and STEM scholarships available. Our counselors maintain a REMIND system for each class to help communicate important events and upcoming workshops. Our STEM counselor maintains a youtube channel for students to access videos on different counseling strategies such as STEM pathways, college application tutorials, and helpful tips on preparing for their post secondary journey. Our counselors also host advising workshops to help guide and navigate students on their high school course selection.
Coordinators of Work Based Learning at CCHS, lead STEM students in a "Career Cafe". Students are offered different sessions each month which consist of various topics to prepare them for their post secondary journey wether it is for the work force or a college pathway.
