Arcade

The purpose of the Arcade project is to learn to connect the digital world to reality through programming and woodworking.

Journal 1

I have been working on a make code skill map. I learned to program a shark to eat food and outrun enemies.

Journal 2

My team and I created a cut map for our arcade, we measured all the sides and wrote them down on a piece of paper so we would know how to make the cuts for the next piece of plywood.

Journal 3

I measured a piece of  plywood and drew a line going from one end to the other so we could make another cut for the arcade.

Journal 4

I completed three tutorials on make code and combined all three of them to create "DOG CHASE".

Describe the final results

I had a lot of fun creating DOG CHASE. I learned all about coding. It's not the smoothest, but i'm proud of it.

What do you know now that you didn't know before?

I now know how to code on the website "Make code"

I know how to do tutorials, and combine three of them

What advice would you give to a future students about this project?

I would tell the future students to make sure to read everything in the skill maps, or the tutorials VERY carefully

What else would you want to do that you didn't have time for?

I would want to have more time to make my game more advanced

What proof do you have that shows you learned the project’s purpose?

My storyboard really help me remember what shots I still needed to get. It was an awesome plan to have.
