As the Founder and Executive Director of A Mother’s Hope, Stasia is responsible for the planning, organization, and direction of AMH's operations and programs. Her previous experiences as an administrator, team coordinator, case manager, resident advisor, and supervisor have prepared her for this position. (If you want to know more about how AMH came to be, click here.)
She collaborates with staff on admission and programming decisions and provides administrative oversight to ensure A Mother’s Hope stays true to its mission and is financially secure. Her goal is to make A Mother’s Hope a positive experience for every woman, baby, staff member and volunteer.
Stasia is a member of the Prenatal and Infant Care Network, Fort Wayne Housing Authority Community Partners, Fort Wayne Planning Council on Homelessness, System of Care Allen County, National Maternity Housing Coalition, and Footprints Fort Wayne, which is focused on reducing infant mortality in Allen County. She has also served as an expert witness for the State of Indiana's Office of the Attorney General.
Her favorite part of A Mother’s Hope is witnessing the change in each resident’s outlook for her future – going from hopeless to filled with hope for something she never imagined her life could be.
In 2015, Natalie became the first Board Chair for A Mother's Hope and has volunteered in various capacities since then. She officially joined the staff in March of 2021.
As the Operations Director, she works closely with the Executive Director in activities related to administration, human resources, record keeping, information technology, legal compliance, finance, marketing, and development. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization and represents A Mother's Hope in the community.
Natalie earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan with a concentration in Health Care as well as specializations in both Interpersonal Practice and Management of Human Services. Her varied experience in social work, development, social media, project management, education, volunteer coordination, ministry, supervision, and strategic planning in both for-profit and non-profit environments has prepared her for this role which requires her to be a "jack of all trades". She loves spreadsheets and seeing a plan come to fruition. She is thrilled to put her gifts and talents to work for A Mother's Hope.
Erin started at A Mother’s Hope in April of 2024 as the Business Manager. She is returning to the organization after completing an internship here in 2021.
After working closely with the AMH management team, Erin developed a love for the nonprofit sector. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies, and then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
Throughout college and after graduation Erin spent time gaining experience with various populations. She has worked closely with those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and children in the foster care system. Most recently she spent a year as an educator teaching healthy relationships in schools in Fort Wayne and the surrounding areas. The opportunity to join the team at A Mother’s Hope came to her at a perfect time, and she owes it all to the power of prayer!
Erin’s responsibilities include managing finances, data tracking, record keeping, supporting efforts for fundraising events, and overall trying to jump in wherever she can to help take things off of other staff members’ overflowing plates!
“Ever since my internship, it has been my dream to come back to A Mother’s Hope. The beautiful work that we do for women and babies is so unique. It is amazing to see how each step of the process is ordered through Christ towards the dignity of the women that we serve. I know that each resident is led by the faith, strength, and humility that all our staff members exemplify. I am so grateful to be a part of this mission!”
Sydney began her role as the Communications and Marketing Coordinator at A Mother’s Hope in July of 2023 just a few short months after graduating from college.
Sydney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Journalism Concentration and Public Relations minor from Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW).
While at PFW, she completed a summer internship as a media and marketing intern at a nonprofit organization in LaGrange, IN called Reason 4 Hope. There she learned more about the importance of social media and marketing within the realm of nonprofit organizations.
After a short summer working for Reason 4 Hope and seeing how her role had such a positive impact on the community and youth of LaGrange, Sydney knew she wanted to pursue her postgraduate career in the nonprofit world.
As the Communications and Marketing Coordinator at A Mother’s Hope, Sydney’s day-to-day responsibilities include managing AMH's social media accounts, publishing promotional materials, helping to produce annual reports and quarterly mailings, assisting with event planning, grant writing, and many other important tasks.
“I love knowing that the work I’m doing is bringing more awareness to significant issues in our community that need to be addressed. Media and marketing open new doors of opportunity for everyone here at A Mother’s Hope which, in return, allows us to have our voices heard and make a monumental difference within the city of Fort Wayne.”
Knoll is a dedicated Lead Care Coordinator with a background in women's ministry and business management. Since 2017, she has voluntarily served as a Women's Ministry Leader through her local church. Her experience in women's ministry has equipped her with the ability to empathize and connect with individuals on a personal level, while her business background has provided a strong foundation in organization and leadership.
Committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment, Knoll strives to empower and uplift those under her care. With a focus on professionalism and integrity, she is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Knoll believes that God has led her to this role at AMH, and she is eager to help empower the women and children here towards a better and brighter future through her example and love.
"At AMH, I see women who come in broken with no hope and no future plans. Through the program I am able to walk alongside each and every woman with grace and love to help them find their self worth, strength, and hope again. I see good days that women have, and I have seen bad days. It is through those bad days that we can only look up and find our HOPE. MLK Jr. said, 'But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.' The Bible tells us in Romans 12:12, 'Be joyful in HOPE, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.' I know that God is using me here at AMH for a definite purpose and plan as I have seen God working already in the lives of these women. One thing I have learned over the years is never say never and always seek the Lord's will in everything, because it is at that moment that God will find a way to use you for a higher calling beyond your imagination."
