Aleks Placement Guide

Please find information on the Aleks placement exam required for selected math and business courses at DMACC. Make sure to utilize the provided learning modules provided if you don't pass on the first attempt. DMACC pays for three attempts at the ALEKS test. Other attempts may be made, but will need to be paid for by the student. 

IMPORTANT: Please notify Sonia Harold once you have taken the ALEKS test. DMACC does not receive an automatic notification once a test has been taken so she will notify DMACC with your completion status so you may be enrolled in your course. 

**You will not be enrolled in a course which requires an ALEKS test score even if your course has been approved until you have taken the ALEKS test and passed it.
