You may have heard the saying Stay Safe, Stay Home. What does that mean? If you aren't sure, ask your parents to answer any question you may have. But simply, imagine globs of paint on your hands. A fun mess of colors. If you don't wash your hands, but you touch the door handle, what will happen? If you touch your face, your friend, a book, what will happen? It will leave paint behind, making a mess. This virus or germ can be passed around like messy paint on your hands, this is why people tell you to wash your hands many times, or don't touch your face, it's to help keep you safe. Staying home will help you not get a "messy" germ to pass around. So you aren't STUCK at home, you are SAFE at home.
Todays challenge is show or illustrating what home means to you. You have several ways to do this.
You can spell the word HOME with objects that are meaningful to you. For example if you feel your home is "valuable" then use objects that are valuable to you to spell it. Send me a picture of your creation with a title like valuable" at rwardwell@alpinedistrict.org
2. Come up with your own idea to show what home means to you.
3. You can do a paper house garland, and draw different things in the house what home means to you. Examples are in the image such as draw what your neighborhood looks like, or put each family member on each house, you decide. Watch the video how to make these. send your creation with a title of what home is to you, to rwardwell@gmail.com
