The top video shows a fun way to draw a 3Dimensional box. Notice the short and long lines she uses for the flaps of the lids. Draw lightly so erasing mistakes is easier. Practice a few times.
Extra:
Once you have practiced a few times and have a good box that you like, (watch second video)
Cut the box out.
draw a line through a separate page, behind the box, so it appears the box is sitting on a table or floor. OR glue another color paper on a regular paper and glue the box onto it.
(OPTIONAL) Decide where your light source is (sun, light bulb). Try putting shadows under the lid flap and inside the box to show depth and shape.
Finally think of what could come out/in the box. This example is hearts. Notice, some hearts are in front of the box, so it will cover up part of the box. Some hearts are inside the box, this means the front flap of the box will cover up some of the hearts...you could cut or erase part of the heart that is inside the box and leave part of the heart covering up the back of the box.
