Looking at a bubble up close, have you ever noticed all those swirling colors? It's kind of magical how so many colors can be in one place and how quickly the designs change. When you observe a bubble, notice how the colors are rounded on the edges. Sometimes you can see color over the entire shape, but mostly the rounded edges are filled with color while the middle is more see through. Todays challenge will be making bubbles, but with a bit more interaction.

• paper (thick paper would hold up better, but optional)

• pencil

• markers, or crayons, or color pencils

• tape

• a stick, or pencil, something long and skinny

• scissors
