Composition: Chairmen and members as needed.
Explore altruistic ideas and programs and make recommendations to the State Executive Board, when requested.
Oversee any state altruistic projects. Tennessee has two permanent state projects: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tennessee Alzheimer's Associations. The State President may select an additional state project for her biennium. Project should be one that will benefit the entire state and not just one section of the state. Approval of any additional state project will be by the State Executive Board.
Collect and assemble ideas, tips, and suggestions of possible chapter altruistic projects to be distributed to each of the state's chapters at the State Leadership Training Workshop and to be placed on the TN website.
Contact chapter Altruistic Chairman regarding chapter altruistic projects and the filing of the report in a timely manner.
Compile and prepare the state's altruistic report to be sent to the Southeast Region Altruistic Chairman by the date specificed by the International and present the totals at the State Convention.
