WHAT TO EXPECT

We are in the very early stages of response efforts, and at this time, the information we can share about what to expect is limited. In this section, you can find some general information about what it’s like to volunteer in a typical All Hands and Hearts program.

Working in a disaster zone in the Response phase requires patience; the situation is very dynamic, and plans often are forced to change at the last minute. Whilst it appears there are always things to be done; it is important they are done correctly and in coordination with the community we serve and our NGO partners.

As the staff and volunteers on the ground continue assessments and work in the field, we’ll update this site with more information. Please keep checking back for updates.
