Here is an example project that I created about Van Gogh
You will be creating a Google Slide presentation to inform others about a famous American artist. You will need to include the following items in the presentation.

Due August 26th - Presentations August 29th through September 1st.
Title Slide with Name 5 points
The project must include a title page with the name of the artist and your name.
Artist Biography 15 points (3 slides)
Provide a short sequential biography for your artist.
(1 slide) Early Childhood - When and where they were born and describe what their childhood was like.
(1 slide) Midlife - describe what the middle of their life was like
(1 slide) End of life - describe the artist in the later years. Include when and where they died. If they are still alive, describe what they are doing currently.
Style of Work 5 points
Describe the style of work and the medium (type). Each artist has a specific style or is part of a movement. Include information about that style. What are the characteristics of the style?
Famous Works List 5 points
Include a list of the artist's most famous works of art. (Top 5)
Famous Works Described 5 points
Each of the top five most famous works of art should have their own slide with the image, name, and description of the art.
Famous Quotes or saying 5 points
Include a section for famous quotes from the artist
Additional Information 5 points
Include any additional information about the artist that you found while conducting your research. Include any information that you thought was particularly interesting.
Creative Recreation 20 points
Take a famous piece from the artist and reinterpret it in your way. This should be a physical recreation that can be displayed on the wall or in the classroom.
Creative Recreation in Project 5 points
Then take pictures of your creative recreation and include them in the digital presentation.
Works Cited 5 points
Include a list of links to cite the sources you used to create your project.
Quiz 5 points
Create a Google Form Quiz that someone who has just read or listened to your presentation should be able to score well on. Make the questions relevant to your project and a good check of understanding about your artist.
