Ivik Henry

IT Student Support Tech

📍Chukchi Campus

Uvluluataq! My name is Ivik Henry and I am from Kotzebue, AK.  I currently work at Chukchi Campus as the I.T. Student Support Technician. Some background about myself: I am named after my family camp, Ivik, and I went to Nikaitchuat Ilisagviat immersion school in Kotzebue. I was taught the Iñupiaq language and the Iñupiat Ilitqusiat or Iñupiaq Values.

Growing up, my dad worked in information technology, influencing my interest in computers and tech. While working in I.T., I try to utilize the Iñupiaq Values in my day-to-day life to help me stay grounded and resolve issues professionally and personally. After working for the Maniilaq Association and Konica Minolta Business Solutions, I learned that I still have much to learn within the Information Technology field.
