For students in Grades 6-12, we follow a Bring Your Own Mac(BYOM) program, which requires students in these grades to bring their own MacBook ready to be used for their first day of school.
This policy is in place to ensure that students have access to the required tools for learning, thereby enabling them to benefit from a more tailored and dynamic educational experience. The Bring Your Own Mac initiative allows students to use technology to supplement their academic performance, which is vital for success in the modern academic landscape.

The AISJ Mobile App is a powerful tool designed to simplify and enhance the digital experience for parents and staff at AISJ. This app serves as a centralized hub, bringing together the most frequently used platforms and critical information in one convenient location. While not all AISJ systems support Single Sign-On (SSO), the app offers the next best solution by providing a gateway to a wide range of resources. With the AISJ Mobile App, parents can more effectively navigate school-related tools, from staff directories and calendars to website portals, social media, live streaming, and more, all at their fingertips.
Please email aisj-communications@aisj-jhb.com should you have any trouble logging in. The AISJ Mobile App uses the same login as the AISJ website.

This could include background information, additional readings, resources, webinars, and teacher-recorded videos. Teachers also include step-by-step instructions to complete activities, explorations, writings, events, labs, investigations, etc.
On the day that your child will start school, you will receive an email from Schoology with instructions to activate your account. For simplicity, you may wish to use the same password for your Schoology account as you have used for PowerSchool and FinalSite. You can use a different password if you wish.
Confirm your parent account has been associated with your HS and MS children.
