If you've ever connected to the "AISJ-JHB Guest" wifi network, it remains in the list of remembered networks, and your laptop may connect to it, if it ever has trouble connecting to the main "AISJ-JHB" wifi network. Connecting to the Guest network will stop you from being able to print, connect to the screens to project, and will also disable some other features.
To stop this from happening, you will want to remove the Guest network from the remembered networks list on your laptop. Watch the video below to see how to do it:
Some MacBooks are still connecting to an older printer setup, which is stopping printing on those MacBooks. If you have trouble printing, please follow the instructions below to remove the older printer and making sure you are set to print to the correct printer.
In the latest macOS versions, when you mirror your screen to an Apple TV, the resolution changes to very high, and your applications - and especially text - look tiny. This is because your MacBook recognises the 4K resolution of the Apple TV and wants to match it. Unfortunately, there is no magic keyboard shortcut to swap this or a way to permanently set it to a smaller resolution.
