The International Baccalaureate Organization has announced that the May examinations (scheduled between 30 April and 22 May 2020) for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Depending on the qualification these Northern Hemisphere students are registered for they will be awarded a Diploma or a Course Certificate which reflects their standard of work (this will be based on students’ coursework and the established assessment expertise, rigor and quality control already built into the programmes).

Currently, this announcement only impacts a very small number of AIS students, and these students have been personally contacted by the school.

We do not have any details regarding the November examinations which is the session undertaken by the majority of our AIS students.
