AIS remains committed to the safeguarding of students and staff during this period of school closure.
To maintain online safety for all members of the community we ask our parents to follow the guidelines below:
- Ensure that appropriate adult supervision is in place as students are logged on to learning. Teachers cannot hold a conference with a child unless a supervising adult is in the room.
- Respect the online learning platform and treat this space as a classroom. Other children should not be able to distract or be visible. This includes during 1-1 conferences with the class teacher.
- Teachers will only contact students using:
- Seesaw
- Google Meet for small group live lessons
- Parent email
- Respect intellectual property and use the online learning platform and material respectfully. Material should not be shared with others outside the school community.
- Parents and students should not use, download or share any photos or recording of teaching staff.
- Parents should review and set their privacy and password setting accordingly, to ensure that children are safe online.
