Communication

There are a number of ways that parents and students can communicate with their teachers whilst undertaking home learning.

• Each student will have 3x 20 min small group lessons with their class teacher and 1x20 in small group lesson with their Chinese teacher each week.
• EAL students and students receiving learning enrichment will attend conferences with their teachers.
• These lessons will be conducted using Google Meet.
• A weekly schedule of conferences and meetings will be posted in Seesaw
• Each student will also have a 20 minute whole class meeting on Thursday using Google Meet. The purpose of this meeting is to maintain connection within the class and keep a sense of community.
• Parents can email student questions to the relevant teacher. Parents can also email their questions to the teacher. Teachers will respond to emails with 24 hours.
• Teachers will only communicate with students using:
  • Seesaw
  • Scheduled small group lessons using Google Meet
  • Through parent email
