Kia ora whānau,

As you will be well aware of by now, our country is in level 4 lockdown. This means all schools are closed for instruction for a minimum of 3 days. To keep all students learning, this class site is available for our class which will contain an online learning programme. It would be great if students can choose to do mahi from our class site to do at their pace.

This is also a great opportunity for all students to work on their speeches. The information for these have been handed out to students in the past week. There is also an attachment to the speeches information below - please note that juniors (final page) have different speech topics to seniors. https://drive.google.com/.../1WpNl_5kQcw9zJX8WWk.../view...

Unfortunately because the decision was made to go into level 4 lockdown so rapidly, we are unable to hand out learning packs or devices to whanau. The TVNZ Home Learning TV channel is also available for those who do not have access to a device.

We will keep you informed via our School Facebook page when further information is available. Keep safe whānau.

Ngā mihi nui,

Ahipara School Staff
