GCSE and A Level Results 2017

The Results Are In!

We are proud to say that the 2017 cohort of Year 11 pupils have achieved the highest percentage of passes or better in the last three years in English and Maths, with an overall improvement of 12% on 2015 and 2016.

We are particularly pleased that 7 of the new Grade 9's have been achieved in English and Mathematics, which compared to the old grading system places these pupils in the top 20% of passes at an old A* grade nationally.

Individually, a number of pupils achieved some outstanding outcomes:

Kaisey Reilly: English Language 7, English Literature 9, Maths 5, Science A, Spanish A, History A*

Kia Hutton: English Language 7, English Literature 8, Maths 7, Science A, History A*

Chloe Lloyd: English Language 7, English Literature 9, Maths 7, Science A, Spanish A, History A

Josh Dodd: English Language 6, English Literature 6, Maths 5, Science C, History B, Spanish C

These results follow pleasing outcomes from last weeks A level results where all Year 13 students passed their full A levels. All of our students that applied to University have been given offers with 87% getting their first choices. Again there were some excellent results from individuals including:

Lindsay Geraldo who achieved an A,A B B in her A Levels and is going to a Russell Group University and Olivia Wood achieved an A, B, B and is going to study Law at University.

Overall 22 students are off to University for the start of this academic year.
