Peer Editing

Peer Editing Tips

  1. - Be objective/ don’t take comments personally.
  2. - Use "I" statements. "I think you should" not "you should".
  3. - Give suggestions for improvements.
  4. - Tell why something worked or did not work for you.
  5. - Do not overlook grammar and spelling (good practice for revising your own work).
  6. - Someone should edit your work more than once. First round should focus more on content. Second round should focus more on grammar and mechanics.
