The Summit Transitional Housing Program

The Summit Transitional Housing Program, located at 626 E. Summit Street, Suite L, Mexico, MO 65265, is designed to assist eligible Mexico and Audrain County residents in securing permanent housing. The program helps individuals build a payment history and develop the skills necessary to achieve successful long-term housing. 

The Summit Transitional Housing Program is accepting applications! 

The Summit Transitional Housing Program, located at 626 E. Summit St., Suite L, serves individuals experiencing homelessness who have verifiable income and a desire for a more sustainable lifestyle. This program provides a safe, affordable place to stay, helps individuals build their payment history, and offers opportunities for personal growth and skill-building. Participants are required to work regularly with our case managers to identify barriers to housing, set goals, determine action steps, and assess progress. Case managers assist with the coordination of eligible benefits, employment applications, and housing applications, locating affordable housing, and connecting participants with physical, mental, and substance abuse treatment programs. Operated by ACSRC, the program collaborates with local resource providers to offer access to the services and skills training that our residents need.
