ACSRC 2024 Impact Report
In 2023, the Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition (ACSRC) significantly enhanced its services to address homelessness and housing instability in Mexico, Missouri. The Summit Transitional Housing Program provides secure housing for individuals experiencing homelessness who have verifiable income and a commitment to achieving sustainable living.
Participants collaborated with case managers to overcome housing barriers, access benefits, seek employment, and connect with treatment programs. The Laura Miller George Community Resource Center, located within ACSRC's main office at 626 E. Summit Street, Suite A, focuses on preventing homelessness by offering rental and utility assistance through the Federal Emergency Solutions Grant and the Missouri Housing Trust Fund Grant.
The Room at the Inn emergency winter warming shelter operated from December 1 through February 28, providing guests with warm meals and safe overnight accommodations.
These initiatives underscore ACSRC's commitment to offering comprehensive support services aimed at fostering stable and sustainable lifestyles within the community.
