Building Stability. Restoring Hope. Strengthening Our Community.
Each year, the Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition reflects on the work being done across our community to address homelessness and housing instability. The 2025 Impact Report highlights the progress made through collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to ensuring that every individual and family in Audrain County has access to safety, dignity, and stable housing.
Throughout 2025, ACSRC continued to serve as the only emergency shelter and transitional housing provider in Audrain County, responding to growing needs with a comprehensive approach that includes homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and person-centered case management. These services are delivered through our core programs, the Laura Miller Family Resource Center, the Summit Transitional Housing Program, and the Room at the Inn Winter Shelter, which together form a coordinated pathway from crisis to long-term stability.
The stories, data, and outcomes shared in this report reflect the collective efforts of community partners, volunteers, donors, faith organizations, and local foundations who work alongside ACSRC to support individuals facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances. Together, these partnerships make it possible to provide not only immediate assistance, but also the tools and support needed for long-term independence.
In 2025, ACSRC served hundreds of individuals through prevention services, emergency shelter, housing assistance, and transitional housing programs. These efforts resulted in meaningful outcomes including stabilized housing, strengthened financial independence, and renewed hope for individuals and families rebuilding their lives.
This report also illustrates an important truth: homelessness is complex, but it is solvable when communities work together. By focusing on prevention, coordinated services, and person-centered support, ACSRC continues to move individuals and families from crisis toward stability while strengthening the overall health of our community.
We invite you to explore the 2025 Impact Report to learn more about the people served, the partnerships that make this work possible, and the measurable difference that compassionate community support continues to make across Audrain County.
