DIRECTIONS:
Start a New Project & title it 'Commercial Jingle'.
File > New > Software Instrument > Create
Spend time brainstorming about your Product & decide which main themes/points/facts best depict your product? You may use this WORKSHEET to help.
What are some Words that describe what is good about your product?
Think of Rhyming words that could be used in lyrics.
Brainstorm some possible Lyrics.
What Musical Elements/Sounds/Instruments could you use?
Create your own project with at least 4 different tracks, including any loops and/or tracks recorded by you.
Record yourself, or someone else to speak about your product. This could be short or long!
Use Plug-ins on individual tracks to help shape the overall sound & mood (Reverb, Echo, Compression, Arpeggiator, Chord Trigger, Panning) to highlight the feel of your Commercial.
Adjust volume levels of each track using Automation (A).
SAVE your Project.
TIMELINE: 5-7 Class Meetings
SUBMISSION
In the main window of Logic, scroll all the way to the right & drag the small grey arrow in the top-right over to where your song ends.
Take a screenshot of your project (shift ⌘3).
Bounce (⌘B) the entire project to audio/m4a.
Add the m4a audio file to your Elec Music Folder in your Drive.
Click the Share Button > change the View settings to Allow Anyone > Copy URL link.
Go to your Google Site >
Pages > Projects > Duplicate the page of your last project (click on the 3 dots)
Rename Page to "Commercial Jingle"
Select Embed & paste the URL Link (⌘V)
Click on Images & Upload the screenshot.
