Project #3: Original Creation

DIRECTIONS:

Create your own project with at least 4 different tracks, including any loops and/or tracks recorded by you. Utilize the skills covered in our first project (Core Logic) & experiment with creating your own loop or musical pattern for at least one of the tracks. This project may be any length.

TIMELINE: 5-7 class meetings

Required Modifications on final mix:

- Pan - [left and right]
- Master and Output tracks MUST be under 0.0db, but as close to 0.0db as possible
- Clean the mix with every instrument audible, but not overpowering (X) ... (⌘2 will bring up a dedicated Mixer Window)

Submission

1. In the main window of Logic, scroll all the way to the right & drag the small, grey arrow in the top-right over to where your song ends.
  1. 1. Take a screenshot of your project (shift ⌘ 3).
    2. Bounce (⌘B) the entire project to audio/m4a.
    3. Add the m4a audio file to your Elec Music Folder in your Google Drive.
    4. Click the Share Button (person with +sign) > change the view settings to Allow Anyone > copy URL link.
Go to your Google Site > go to Pages
1. 1. 1. Pages > Projects > Duplicate the page of your last project (click on the 3 dots)
    2. Rename Page to "Original Creation"
    3. Select Embed & paste url code
    4. Click Image > Upload the screenshot to your Site
2. Provide a brief write-up about your project in the Description section.

3. Listen to & briefly comment on 3 of your classmate's projects using our Critique Guidelines.
