Beat Design
Project #4: Beat Design
STUDENT OUTCOME: Learn about Beat Composition and the various ways to create rhythm patterns and original beat loops in LogicProX.
ASSIGNMENT:
Watch each of the videos below.
Create 1-2 Custom Rhythmic/Beat-based Loops and add them to your Loop Library (O) by dragging your loop region into the library. Loops should be between 2-4 bars in length. Accurately notate the Metadata that identifies your Custom Loop with tags that will make it easier to search for (ex. Beats, Grooving, Arrhythmic, etc.)
Then, use your Custom Loops to create a 16-24 measure song in a style you haven't used yet. (e. Rock, Acoustic, R&B, Experimental, Jazz, etc.)
Listen to 2-3 of your classmates' Rhythm Project or Live Loops Project & give feedback.
