Amendments to the Bylaws

Bylaws can be amended at both monthly Board Meetings and State Convention ^B7.1
Any WJCL member may propose a bylaw amendment by sending it to the Parliamentarian for consideration ^B7.2
The initial versions of any proposed bylaw should be sent to all chapters at least 15 days prior to its attempted ratification
For a bylaw to be passed (ratified)...
- at a Board Meeting, there must be a 2/3 majority of the Executive Board in favor (excluding votes of abstention) ^B7.4
- at State Convention, there must be a simple majority of the delegates in favor ^B7.4
At a Board Meeting, the proposed amendments can be further amended and then passed ^B7.3
