Administrator Password

There are 3 accounts on your child's laptop

Student -

This account does NOT have administrator privileges and is to be used by your child when they are using their school laptop.

Parent -

This account DOES have administrator privileges and is to be used by parents who wish to install additional software, hardware drivers or update software. This account is protected by a password, if you wish to be given this password please send an email request to helpdesk@wis.edu.hk.

To change your password:

1. Login to the Parent account, press the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys on your keyboard.

2. Click on Change a password

3. Type in your new password and confirm the change

Administrator -

This account DOES have administrator privileges and is used by the WIS IT Team when repairing or updating your child's laptop. We would ask that you DON'T delete this account or alter its settings if you have access to the parent account.
