Account Suspension
It is important that you forward emails and copy your files from Google Drive. Once your account is disabled, you will no longer be able to access them.
If you are leaving at the end of the school year, your account will be disabled in August so you have the whole summer to do this.
If you are leaving in the middle of the school year, your account will be disabled the day after you leave so you have to do this right away.
Access to school systems such as Wisdom, Gateway, Gmail, Google Drive, etc, will be deactivated after you leave WIS.
Access to software such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc, will be deactivated after you leave WIS.
Access to school Gmail will be suspended after you leave WIS. Make sure that create a personal email account and use that for registration to online platforms (eg. twitter, facebook, Instagram, etc)
Google Takeout
Using Google Takeout, you can export and download your data from the Google products you use, like your email, calendar, and photos. In a few easy steps, create an archive to keep for your records or use the data in another service.
Note: Downloading your data does not delete it from Google’s servers.
First, choose which products to include
Visit the Google Takeout page (https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout). You might have to sign in to your Google Account.
Choose which Google products to include in your download. To see more details and options for a product, select the down arrow.
Select Next.
Choose your archive's File type. Usually, ZIP is the best format to choose.
Note: If you have Google Play Music data in your account, your content isn't included when you create an archive.
Next, choose how your archive is delivered
For "Delivery method," select Send download link via email.
Choose Create archive.
In the email that arrives, click Download archive.
To download your data, follow the onscreen instructions.
