Laptop Provision for Year 10 and Above
This is a reminder to all parents that, unless your child was a late entrant to the school, the accidental damage protection and software licenses that you purchased bundled together with your child’s school laptop in Year 7 will expire at the end of Year 9.
Importantly this means that from the start of the next academic year your child’s current school laptop will no longer be supported by the West Island School IT Service Desk, nor will your child be able to borrow a loaner laptop from the school.
For seamless continuity in your child’s laptop use, West Island School strongly urges you to replace your child’s current laptop with the next generation of school laptops. The laptop was chosen after a comprehensive testing and tender process, overseen by the School Council.
