Guardian Summary
Activation Instructions
After receiving the email invitation you must follow these simple instructions below to receive the summary for your child.
In order to receive the summaries you must click the link in the body of the email and then click accept.
Once you have joined the Classroom summary, you will receive regular, automatic email summaries for each of your children.
Guardians can choose the frequency of the emails—daily or weekly—and can unsubscribe at any time. Due to the volume of information in the Guardian Summary we would advise you to accept the daily summary
How change the frequency of your guardian summary
You need to have a google email address in order for you to change the frequency of receiving your child's guardian summary.
If you are using a non-google email address, the guardian summary will be sent to you once a week every Friday afternoon.
1. Open your browser and sign-in to your google account.
2. Open this link: https://classroom.google.com/u/0/gs
3. Under Frequency, click the Down arrow and choose when to get summaries:
Weekly
Daily (Monday–Friday)
No summaries
Guardian email summaries include
Missing work—Assignments that are past their handin date.
Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or work that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails)
Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions that have recently posted by teachers

Unsubscribe from the guardian summaries
On the guardian summary email, scroll to the bottom and press “Notification Setting”
Press the delete icon
Press remove to confirm or cancel
