Arnold, Benedict

Benedict Arnold was born in Norwich, Connecticut on January 14, 1741. He

was initially recognized as a great military official, but he turned on the

Continental army began to work with the British on a plan to overtake West

Point. He was discovered and he fled to England. Benedict Arnold died in

London, England on June 14, 1801. Today he is known as America’s most

infamous traitor.
