ALLIANT ENERGY Community Service Scholarship Program Application

Eligibility: 24 and younger; have Alliant Energy as provider; GPA higher than 2.5, plan to enroll for the first time to a two or four year school in Iowa, Wisconsin or Minnesota.

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Undergraduate Society Scholarship

Planning an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Engineering Tech at and ASHRAE accredited school, GPA of 3.0 or higher.

American Cancer Society

For young people who are cancer patients/survivors

The eligibility requirements are: were diagnosed with cancer before the age of 21, are under the age 25 at the time of application, are a legal resident of Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin for at least one year, have been accepted to attend an accredited two or four year university or vocational/technical school, have completed the application process, and must provide your estimated financial contribution (EFC) score from your Free Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA).

BigSun Scholarship

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.

Burger King Scholarship

The BURGER KINGâ„  Scholars program assists employees, employees' spouses or domestic partners, employees' children and high school seniors in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada in continuing their education. Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000, and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average, work experience, extracurricular activities and/or community service.

AWJ Scholarship

The scholarship helps those who aspire to achieve leadership positions in the credit union system by attending Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Management School. This scholarship is open to Iowa credit union employees.

Czech Heritage Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Czech Heritage Foundation Scholarship Fund aids undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least one year of post-secondary education. The scholarship is available to Iowan students of Czech or Slovak descent.

Iowa 4-H Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

Iowa 4-H members are eligible to apply. Only one application is needed for all 80 scholarships. Students may apply for more than one scholarship, however, only one scholarship per individual will be awarded per academic year.

Non-Traditional Student Scholarship

Must be a member of the American Legion, Auxillary, or Sons of The American Legion who pursues education later in life or had their education interrupted and is now returning to school.
