Business Horizons (BH) is a weeklong program at Central College In Pella, Iowa, available to students who are currently 9-12 graders across the state to learn about value-centered entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership, teamwork and goal setting skills. It will provide you with essential fundamentals on how to achieve goals and reach new heights. Central College is pleased to announce that any student who participates in Business Horizons and applies, is admitted and chooses to attend Central, will be guaranteed a minimum of $12,000 in Central College scholarship assistance, renewable for all four years.

Iowa State University - ACACIA LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
The ACACIA Leadership Scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated their ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities, and community involvement. The scholarship is available to any male, graduating senior from and accredited Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, or Nebraska high school who attends Iowa State University. The scholarship is awarded by the Alumni Corporate Board of Acacia Fraternity at Iowa State University. Scholarships that are awarded are not transferrable to another institution or individual. Financial need is not a criterion.

St. Ambrose University Doctor of Physical Opportunity
The St. Ambrose University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is currently accepting applications from qualified high school students interested in this dynamic health care profession. Track 1 is an accelerated program exclusively designed for exceptional high school students. Students selected for Track 1 complete the equivalent of three years of undergraduate education and matriculate into the DPT class that begins during the fall of their senior year in college. A bachelor's degree in a major of their choice and the doctorate is eared after a total of 5 1/2 years.

University of Iowa-First Year Scholarships
Old Gold Scholarship-$5,000/year awarded automatically at point of admission to students with a 30 or higher on ACT and a 3.8 or higher GPA.
Iowa Scholars Award Level 1: $3,500/year awarded automatically at the point of admission to students with a 27 or higher ACT score and a 3.8 or higher
GPA or a 30 or higher ACT score and a 3.7 GPA.
Iowa Scholars Award Level II: $2000/year awarded automatically at the point of admission to students with a 25 or higher ACT score and a 3.2 or higher
GPA who do not receive the Level I award.
Iowa Boost Award: $1,000/year awarded to students who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant.
Iowa Heritage Award: $1,500/year for students who have a parent, stepparent, legal guardian, or grandparent who graduated from Iowa. Students must
verify their family information online before receiving the award.
Iowa Abroad Scholarship: a one-time $1,000 award to support a study abroad experience for all enrolling Iowa residents.
Summer Hawk Tuition Grant: a one-time award to fund up to 12 credits of summer school during any single summer for all enrolling Iowa residents.

University of Iowa - Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship
Each recipient of the Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship must be of the Protestant faith, a resident of the State of Iowa, and a full-time student at the University of Iowa. Between 75 and 80 scholarships are awarded annually in the amount of $400 each. The scholarship funds are paid in installments of $200 at the beginning of each semester and are sent directly to the University of Iowa.

University of Iowa - Strayer-Rairden Scholarship
The Strayer-Rairden Scholarship provides a $1,000 award, renewable for up to three successive years following the initial award, to an entering freshman from the state of Iowa attending the University of Iowa. This person is selected by the Department of Physics and Astronomy as the state's best-qualified applicant who has declared physics or astronomy as their major. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit, not financial need. As long as a scholarship winner maintains a 3.2 grade point average, and remains in the declared major specified above, the scholarship may be renewed for a total of four years or the completion of a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first.

Athletic Talent Search
The Nationally-Ranked Iowa Women’s Rowing Team is seeking to invest in Iowa’s top female athlete(s) by dedicating as much as a full athletic scholarship to the 2019 Homegrown HawkeyesAthletic Talent Search.
Homegrown Hawkeyes is a search for athletes who have never rowed but are driven to compete at the highest level of NCAA athletics and excited about the idea of transferring their athletic talents to a new sport at the collegiate level.
Hawkeye Rowing has a reputation for being one of the best talent-development programs in the NCAA. In 2018, UIowa led the nation with nearly 85% of the NCAA Championship roster starting their rowing careers as freshmen.
These Homegrown Hawkeyes helped lead the Team to a #7 National Ranking, a #11 NCAA Championship finish, and wins over World Championship medalists while on tour in Europe. Some of these same Homegrown Hawkeyes have been identified by the US National Team and are on the path toward elite competition.

The University of Nebraska at Kearney is excited to offer a 3+2 program resulting in a Bachelors degree and a Master of Athletic Training (MAT). Students are able to complete an undergraduate degree of their choice while completing a Minor in Athletic Training Foundations. The minor will lead them to apply for a start the MAT program in their senior year as a dually enrolled undergraduate/graduate student which then progress to the MAT. The Freddy Miranda Access Scholarship is awarded to five Iowa high school seniors, whose high schools and chosen colleges are members of Iowa ACAC. Freddy Miranda was someone who was giving of his time, cared for others, and had a desire to improve the world. It is our hope to honor Freddy’s memory by choosing scholarship recipients that embody similar qualities and characteristics.
Special consideration will be given to students from underrepresented populations, who are first generation, and/or demonstrate financial need.
