Additional View of Graduation Requirements
To obtain a diploma from Washington High School students must successfully complete the required credits and select additional elective credits to complete a full 4-block schedule. Fifty-six (56) credits are required to graduate.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENT CHECK
Students are required to earn 56 credits to graduate from Washington High School. It is the responsibility of the student and/or parent to make certain all requirements are met. STUDENTS FAILING COURSES SHOULD SEE THE COUNSELOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
DIPLOMA OF MERIT
Students desiring a Diploma of Merit at commencement must earn 64 credits and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Students receiving the Diploma of Merit will receive special acknowledgement at Commencement, a gold seal attached to the diploma as well as a notation in the student’s individual cumulative folder.
