Licensure Program Leads (LPLs) are individuals appointed by their academic department at the UMN-Twin Cities to serve as program administrators, advisors and instructors for a state-approved teacher licensure program. LPLs and OTE staff work closely together to ensure all faculty and advisors working with teacher licensure candidates have the information they need to be successful in their positions. LPLs and OTE staff ensure compliance with the UMN policies and Minnesota’s statutes and rules specific to teacher preparation.
