Teacher Education Management System (TEMS)

About TEMS

TEMS is an OTE application supporting teacher candidate progress tracking and clinical experiences record keeping at the UMN Twin Cities. TEMS is used for specific business purposes in the Office of Teacher Education. Authorized users may view records in TEMS for advising teacher candidates and/or monitoring key checkpoints during the program. Authorized users include OTE staff, licensure program leads, teacher licensure academic advisors and some department staff. TEMS supports candidate advising from program enrollment (checkpoint 1), to field placement (pre-student teaching) audit (checkpoint 2) and finally to licensure recommendation (checkpoint 3).
