Clinical Partnerships

About the Team

The Clinical Partnerships team collaborates with stakeholders to deepen university-school partnerships with the goal of improving preK-12 student achievement. Major initiatives include: enhancing clinical placements, improving mentoring of teacher candidates, researching topics related to partnership initiatives, and expanding partnership networks.

Amy Jo Lundell (Wulling 140C) finalizes and manages clinical placements for CEHD's K-12 (Arts in Ed, World Languages, ELL) and secondary programs (English, Math, Sciences, Social Studies). Amy Jo also coordinates co-teaching professional development for cooperating teachers in partner districts, and manages the stipend payment process for OTE.

Kathy Byrn (Wulling 140A) finalizes and manages clinical partnerships for CEHD's elementary education and early childhood programs as well as CFANS' agricultural education and CLA's music education.  

Kelly Meyer (Wulling 140 B) coordinates innovative partnership development projects across partner districts and school sites and leads the professional development planning and coordination for clinical supervisors working with network schools.

Charissa O'Neill is the field coordinator for special education licensure programs. She works for the department of Educational Psychology (EPSY).
