Requesting a Branded Shortlink
To request a branded shortlink for a website, please send an email to Gage Guswiler (guswiler@umich.edu) that includes the following information:
The original link (e.g. https://www.engin.umich.edu/).
A description of how the link is currently being used (i.e. Is it being used as part of an email campaign, is the link pointing to an online survey, or is it just a standard website link?).
The string of characters you would like to follow the domain name. For example, if the shortened url is goo.gl/drive , then drive would be the string of characters that follows the domain name. This helps specify exactly where the link leads to. Please keep in mind that you shouldn't use a #, =, or spaces in url strings.
Any UTM parameters that you would like included.
After submitting your request, you should receive a response in approximately two business days.
