functions

Homework

Watch function basics, functions with parameters, functions with return statements, intro to functional programming (don't worry about adopting this paradigm fully, but it is helpful to think about programming this way , she goes on about map and reduce which can be super helpful, but I think forLoops are still great. This is the counter point to the object oriented programming paradigm)

Meet with your partner(s) for 30mins minimum to discuss ways to convert your projects to functional blocks of code. Try writing out each other's projects as sudo code (post the sudo code and a link to their project)

Re-make a past project (save it as a new project don't overwrite the old one) using functions to break up your code into reusable concise chunks. Try to use english readable names to make the code read as what it does. You can improve the project once you have converted it to a functional project to use loops and make the interaction more complex. Post links to both the first project and the iteration in you blog. Discuss how meeting with someone else helped or hindered your process.
