Teaching & Assessment

Mr. Ho's teaching practice is always current, research-based, and effective.  He uses a variety of high-impact instructional practices to meet the different learning needs of all students in his Math Fusion classroom.

Examples of high-impact instructional practices that Mr. Ho uses in his classroom are as follows:

In addition, he works with the Student Success team at LPCI to try to support students with numeracy.  He also works with the vice principal and other teachers at LPCI to plan, organize, and administer the Grade 9 Math EQAO assessment.

Teachers with 25 Years of Service at TDSB

The Math department at LP has two Math teachers who have served in TDSB for over 25 years.  They are Ursula McDonnell and Jessica Cherny Halford, and they both received a 25-year-of-service pin from TDSB for their dedicated hard work.

Ursula McDonnell received a 25-year-of-service pin from TDSB in November 2023.

Jessica Cherny Halford received a 25-year-of-service pin from TDSB in February 2024.
