The Math Hall of Fame at LPCI
There are many exceptional Math students at LPCI who performed extremely well in Math courses and/or contests. Here are some of them:
2024-25 Charles W. Robb Mathematics Award
The Charles W. Robb award is given in memory of the first Principal of LPCI. It is awarded to the student who obtained the highest aggregate mark in Grade 12 Mathematics courses, specifically Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, and Data Management. Congratulations to the 2024-25 recipient of this award, Daniel Bondar!

Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC)
Tabitha Vaux (left) received a certificate with honours from the 2024 COMC and Thomas Yu (right) received a certificate with distinction from the 2024 COMC.
Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests (CSIMC)
Yeonjee Rhee (left) and Stanley Weng (right) are the 2024-25 school champions of the Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest (CIMC), and Daniel Bondar (middle) is the 2024-25 school champion of the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC).
Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat Contests (PCF)
Chen Luo (left), Stanley Weng (middle), and Pavel Minailov (right) are the 2024-25 school champions of Pascal (grade 9), Cayley (grade 10), and Fermat (grade 11) math contests, respectively, at LP. Congratulations!
Fryer, Galois, and Hypatia Contests (FGH)
Choi Nohjun (from left to right) and Stanley Weng are the 2024-25 school champions of the Galois (grade 10) math contests, and Alec Bostan (from right to left) and Peter Sfendeles are the 2024-25 school champions of the Hypatia (grade 11) math contests.
Euclid Contest
Daniel Bondar is the 2024-25 school champion of the Euclid (grade 12) math contest.
Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC)
LP's math team consisting of Pavel Minailov, Tabitha Vaux, Gengxin Zhu, Thomas Yu, Bruce Legge, and Daniel Bondar (from left to right) placed 11th out of 37 schools in the in-person 2025 Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC) at the University of Waterloo.
