Angel Andino, a senior Film Production major and Writing minor at Shenandoah University, is not just a filmmaker. He is a beacon of inspiration, constantly seeking to expand his skills and find vision and inspiration in every story that can be told. His mission is to inspire others to embrace themselves and their creativity, empowering them to tell their own stories.
Giovanna Barham currently resides in the Midwest. When not perusing the secrets of the universe, she experiments with recipes, plays video games, and lounges around with her husband, cat, and corgi.
Gavin Barricklow is a junior Music Education major & English minor at Shenandoah University. He is a violist and has a number of hobbies. Gavin tends to have opinions on pointless things, and enjoys doing so.
Shriya Bharadwaz is a junior Musical Theatre major and Professional & Popular Writing minor at Shenandoah University. She is a lover of prose and flowery imagery, and finds inspiration in every crack in every sidewalk.
Hadlee Bingham is a senior Creative Writing major and an Entrepreneur minor at Weber State University. She is married with one daughter. She finds inspiration for her work in nature as well as through friends and family.
Martine Bourdeau teaches English at Shenandoah University. She wrote both in French and English since she was in her twenties. Her work includes a novel, thirty short stories and fifty poems. It has been mainly inspired by European Romanticism which values Nature, personal quests and reforming society.
Juliette Brookman is a junior Creative Writing major at the University of Mary Washington. Her pieces have been published in the last edition of the Avalon and in her school's lit mag, the Aubade. Her inspiration for poetry and short stories stems from personal experiences and societal expectations.
Madison Cavalet is a sophomore psychology major and dance minor at Shenandoah University. She is a current editor of Avalon and was drawn to it due to her passion for the arts, reading, and writing.
Ivan de Monbrison is a bipolar French poet and artist living in Paris born in 1969. He has been published in several magazines in English and French. His last book, written in French, just got released under the title "Autopsie d'un fou" (Autopsy of a madman).
Jenna Eckenrod is a Junior at Shenandoah University double-majoring in Dance BFA and English BA. Her written works have previously appeared in Avalon and Pulp Literary Journal. Jenna has passion for exploring the intersectionality of writing and embodied movement, and hopes to continue making these connections.
Kylee Graham is a freshman at Virginia Peninsula Community College, and is majoring in Health Science. She has been passionate about photography since she was in sixth grade. She is frequently inspired by her travels and the work of others.
Shauna AV Gunnell is a senior undergraduate student of English/Creative Writing at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where she serves as the 2024-2025 editor in chief for their literary journal, Metaphor. She enjoys video games, knitting, long walks on the beach, and exploring cross-genre writing.
Maggie Herber is a junior acting major at Shenandoah University. When she's not onstage she likes to scribble, doodle and plop her thoughts on paper!
Nora Hunter is a Junior English Major and Writing Minor at Shenandoah University. She is President of both the SU Writers' Club and SU's Chapter for Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. She has recently co-written a dramaturgical research book for the play "Antigone."
Pat Segundo Johnson is a fifth-year Secondary Education Major with Minors in Film and Psychology at Shenandoah University. He has written poetry for a decade, since his early teens. He bears his soul in his work through confessionary free verse and his recent endeavors in prose include Haiku and Senryu.
Lily Kilduff is a junior English major and Professional & Popular Writing minor at Shenandoah University. She works mainly in the genre of fiction, spanning in all different subgenres. Lily takes great inspiration from her fellow authors and her family.

Kelsey Robbins is an Appalachian poet and writer from Inwood, West Virginia. She is a senior at Shepherd University, and she is a member of Sigma Tau Delta honors society. Her work has previously appeared in Mosaic, and she is a Senior Editor for Sans Merci.
Zoe Satterwhite is a Senior Acting major at Shenandoah University. They are most inspired by greek literature and feels invigorated the most when challenging themself to write in that same style of verse.
Grace Semow is a freshmen Nursing major at Shenandoah University. Her work of art was constructed at her hometown during her senior year at Hempfield Area High school. She enjoyed ceramics class and took it to have a calm part of her day.
Bekka Shelton is a graduate student in the University of Louisville's Master of Arts in English program. She finds inspiration for her work from her own life experiences as well as that of those close to her.

Peter Smetanick is a former Shenandoah University student. His work has previously appeared in Avalon. Peter enjoys blending fiction with reality. Much of his work deals with his experience with bipolar disorder. Peter enjoys writing poetry, personal essays, short stories, and is currently working on a short autobiographical fiction novel.
