Q: My labels are too dark/light. How do I adjust the darkness of my Zebra R110Xi?
A: The darkness may need to be adjusted in two places if your labels are printing too dark or too light. The first place is through the front panel of your printer. If you are using software other than On-Demand to print your labels you can adjust the darkness right on your printer. Alternatively, if you are using On-Demand, the darkness setting in On-Demand will override the printer setting, allowing you to make all your adjustments right in the On-Demand software.
To adjust the darkness on the front panel of your Zebra R110Xi
Press Setup/Exit
Power on your printer and press the Setup/Exit button on the front of your printer.
Adjust the darkness
The first setting you should see is the Density setting. You can use the top right oval arrow to increase the darkness, and the top left oval arrow to decrease the darkness.
Save your changes
Press the Setup/Exit button followed by the Next/Save button to save your changes permanently.
