How to load ribbons in a Zebra R110Xi

Steps for loading ribbon into the Zebra R110Xi for the first time

1. Fold a blank label around the end of the ribbon

   1. To simplify the ribbon loading process, we recommend that you fold a blank label around the end of your ribbon. This will help you guide the ribbon through the printer.

2. Open the printhead and insert the ribbon

• 1. Begin by opening the printhead and sliding your ribbon onto the rear spool. The ribbon will spin clockwise.

3. Feed the ribbon through the printer

• 1. Next, slide the ribbon through the printer, underneath the small loose roller. Continue feeding the ribbon through the printhead, around the top of the front roller, and underneath the take-up-spool.

4. Attach the ribbon to the take-up-spool

• 1. Wrap the ribbon around the take-up-spool until it holds itself in place. Remember that the take-up-spool will spin counter-clockwise.
