Lab 10 : Compare Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes

Submit the following as directed : 

                                                                    Borrelia burgdorferi

1. Two Labeled Drawings: one each of the Prokaryote and Eukaryote  ( Labels should include : Pro/Eukaryote, Kingdom, Magnification, Specific name if available, and at least two features like cell wall, nucleus, etc.)   This is hand-drawn by you.  Scan it and submit it.Use a different slide than used for the photo/digital image.

2. Two Labeled Digital Images: one each of the Pro/Eukaryote    Use a different slide than used for the drawing.

         a. Submit this part as ONE Google Document with labels.  At least one measurement in um should be done. This can be the entire cell size or a structure.  Of course, more than one measurement can be included.

         b. Insert the image into a Google Drawing . Label with magnification, name structures  ( nucleus? cell                membrane?, cell wall? Flagellum?), name of the organism, name of the kingdom it represents.

3. Make a T-Chart or a Venn Diagram: Compare Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes in a list of similarities and differences. ( This is hand-written, and scanned to Classroom.)

        a. Include the size range in micrometers (um)

        b. Include the Kingdoms represented in each category.
