  • Robots could help doctors with diagnoses. Robots could go into places, too dangerous to send people such as the moon or deep sea. - others.

  • She likes that she can plan out what she wants to the robot to do, then see it actually do it. She wants to create robots that help people. She is inspired by people who use their talents for good.

Mini-Lesson (5-10 minutes)

Stamp command will produce a bitmap image of the sprite, which is stamped onto the stage. This is not a sprite, but an image of a sprite. It can not be programmed. If the sprite has effects, the stamped version will keep these effects ( eg transparency).

Clear will wipe the stamped images from the stage.

Activity 1

Unit 6 is about Art and Procedures ( make-a-block). Today is an exploration of the art tool command Stamp.

Students use the stamp tool to produce beautiful spiral art. Stamp Flower Video

In Nature there is a golden angle that produces amazing spirals. The golden angle is 137.5.

Your students may want to use this angle, (Phyllotaxis), to achieve organic artistic spiraling creations of flowers and seeds.
