Youth Court

Youth Court is a program put on by the Southampton Youth Bureau where students from East End schools get an up close and personal look at the criminal justice system by working together to hold trials for juvenile offenders and deciding on proper sentences. It's a great opportunity for anyone in grades 9-12 who is seeking a career in law, wants to improve their public speaking skills, or is just trying to build up community service hours for their college resume. It meets every Monday from 6:00-7:30 at the Southampton Town Justice Court (32 Jackson Avenue in Hampton Bays). Interested students should peruse the brochure and then fill out the membership form, uploaded below for your convenience.
