Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY)

The Leadership Seminar sponsored by Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) is the nation's foremost youth leadership development organization. Each June, a weekend seminar is held at Adelphi University where high school sophomores from across Long Island gather and participate in hands-on activities, meet other students, and explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to guide others and make a positive impact on their community. All 10th grade students are invited to apply for one of the two available spots each year. Interested sophomores can pick up an application from Mr. Mingione in the guidance office or download it below.
