GPA

Grade Point Average or GPA is printed on transcripts that go to college. Pierson uses the 100 point scale and a weighted GPA to determine class rank. Colleges may choose to look at your unweighted grade in each class to determine a GPA.

A good way to know where you stand is to look your report cards. Your raw, unweighted average for each class as well as cumulative for each quarter is reported on the report card.

Often colleges and college search websites ask you to convert your GPA from the 100 point scale we use at Pierson to another format. Pierson does not convert to these formats, but you may find it helpful to view this chart below.
